Part 2 ( 3- days)

• Total Station Leica TS 16

• Data entry into CS20 controller

• Intro to AutoCAD

• Measuring/ Setting out points, lines and curves

• Setting out calculations

• As built Survey

• Kerb Marking

The Setting out for Construction course is aimed for the aspirants seeking entry into the lucrative Construction industry with no pre-requisites.

Delegates will receive:

– all reference study material
– A yellow survey book.
– Grid Set Construction Hi-Visibility Vest BS EN 471- Class 3
– hard hat EN397
-tools and equipment for practical trainings

Work placement

After the successful completion of setting out for construction course from Grid Set academy students will have an opportunity to take onsite work placement under the shadow of senior engineer. However this is paid service, and student will pay GSA to gain this work experience. After gaining onsite work experience students have an opportunity to work for Grid Set Construction Limited as a site engineer.
